FECS

Cell Self-structuring Technology

FECS,
Functionally Enhanced Cell Spheroid

FECS (Functionally enhanced cell spheroid) is a technology that maximizes the interaction between cells and induces self-structuring into 3D cell spheroids.

Cell self-structuring

Spheroid formation takes a relatively short time, within 24 hours after cell inoculation,
and is characterized by the development of an intact spheroid shape.

Since the cells are self-structuring without exerting artificial forces,
extracellular matrix is abundantly expressed in the formed spheroidal cells.

3D Cell Spheroid Technology

3D cell spheroids must be uniform in size, shape, among others.
And those characteristics are maintained at every time they are manufactured.

Most of the inoculated cells must be formed into a single aggregate,
and the number of cells constituted must be constant.
